The First Month

Hi Boys,
Well you are now 6 weeks and 5 days old on 1.22.17.  I have to say this first month was really hard for me and your dad.  You guys are only sleeping about 2.5 hours round the clock so sleep is very little for us.  I'm not sure I've ever been so tired in my life :-).  Your faces are filling out nicely probably due to all of the food you are eating.  I'm still working on breast feeding you guys 2-3 times a day,pumping 8x's a day then feeding you by a bottle 8x's a day.  You guys definitely like to eat.  You are still sleeping most of the day.  It seems like between 7-11 you guys start to get a little cranky maybe you are sleeping too much.  Both of you are smiling a little and seem to have a little better control of your head.  We are still waiting for the fun part and the not so tired part with you guys.

At your 2 week doctor appointment you were:
Logan: 5 lbs 7 oz, 18" 3/4 long
Dylan: 6 lbs 1 oz, 19" 1/4 long

At your 4 week doctor appointment you were:
Logan: 6 lbs 15 oz, 19" long
Dylan: 7 lbs 5 oz, 20" long

8 weeks have flown by

Boys,
Wow!!! Time is certainly flying with you guys.  I've been off work for 8 weeks tomorrow and have 5 more weeks before I go back to work.  You have started to sleep 4 hours at night which feels more like 10 hours of sleep to us.  Dylan you are cooing a lot an really like the jungle gym during the day.  Logan you are funny and pretty animated with your hands and tongue.   You guys are starting to move your arms and legs a lot more and love looking at the ceiling fan and cool green light your dad has set up in your room.  We have yet to take you anywhere except the doctor.  We may wait a few more weeks before we venture out.  You love to be held and loved on and talked to.  Oh you really like bath time too that's fun for both of you.  You helped celebrate Ollie's 15th birthday yesterday a day early and that was fun.  We are starting to have fun with you guys now that we are getting a little more sleep and can see clearly again.
